Loved it!!! Very unique experience. It wasn’t quite as amazing as I was expecting – very few of the pools are open to the public – most are now dry and some manufactured ones have been created for public access. The top area still had water however people cannot access that area.
I definitely recommend entering from the lower gate. Gorgeous view as you climb the hill (easy climb) and you get immediate access. If you visit from the South Gate (top gate) it’s a long walk to reach the travetines.
