A bookshop offering new books (Bookends), plus a VAST second-hand book shop (Bookcase) covering 4 storeys of a Georgian house. There’s sheet music in the basement, kids’ books, classics, everything you could possibly want. Plus a really lovely little cafe (Cakes & Ale) that does light lunches and wonderful cakes, with tables both inside and outdor in the little courtyard garden. They also have a section of books dedicated to the local area, which is nice if you are visiting and want to get to know the area in more depth. There’s also a small exhibit dedicated to breweries and pub management (in the cafe).
